NCS Lien Index

NCS’ Lien Index is derived from carefully monitored national and regional mechanic’s lien activity, construction economic data from various sources, and general economic trends. The report includes NCS’ Lien Index, key economic indicators and trends, as well as their assessment on impacts to future construction business.

Terms Pushback

Terms pushback continues to be a proactive strategy employed by customers to manage their cashflow and places the burden on the vendor.  As this trend continues to grow, the attached worksheets and booklet support the credit professional’s ability to quantify the impacts, define improvement opportunities and develop strategy for informed credit decisioning.  We hope you find value in the offering.

National Summary of Domestic Trade Receivables – aka The DSO Report

This report measures accounts receivable performance across the 6 most common KPIs. The outputs are provided in both a summary format and by standard industry classification (SIC) thus enabling the participant to view macro trends, but also detail movement within their specific industry segment. The survey is conducted quarterly, and the results are available to all who participate!

The 4th quarter survey will also contain the Annual Bad Debt survey. You will be asked to submit data to compile both reports.

Ms. Jessica Butler has long been a contributor to our community and the processes associated with managing customer deductions. This Deduction Benchmark Assessment Tool utilizes the information gathered in Attain Consulting Group’s 2015 Customer Deduction Benchmark Survey to help you measure and evaluate your company’s deduction management performance against others in your industry.
