This course is designed to help those who are seeking or currently doing business with the federal government get paid for the delivery of their goods and services on a timely basis using methods recommended by the federal government.

Federal Government Receivables expert, George Reaver, provides 2 – 60-minute information packed videos which provide students with an overview of the federal bureaucracy and payment process.   • Where the major payment dispersing centers are for various agencies
  • The major components necessary for a successful contracting and payment arrangement
  • Invoice processing, including electronic invoicing
  • The disbursement process
  • An explanation of the different types of federal contracts
  • The contract modification process

  • Wide area workflow
  • Federal acquisition regulations
  • Defense federal acquisition regulations

Session 2 Topics:

Sources of the rules for Federal Government Procurement and Payments, such as:

  • Congressional federal law
  • Federal acquisition regulations (FAR’s)
  • Defense federal acquisition regulations (DFAR’S)
  • Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circulars
  • Grant and contract terms

What you need to know about Accessing US Federal Government e-Commerce Tools:

  • Central contractor registration/system award management
  • Electronic contracting files
  • Electronic billing systems
  • Online invoice inquiry systems

This is an On-Demand Course, allowing students to work independently and at their own pace to accommodate the time demands of busy professionals. Upon concluding the presentation/course material, the participant is required to take a final exam. Those who receive a grade of 70% or higher will receive an electronic “Certificate of Professional Development” from the Credit Research Foundation.
