2023 November Forum

The Credit Research Foundation is excited to host the final in-person Forum of 2023, offering educational sessions curated by industry experts and several opportunities for peer group networking.

During this two-and-a-half-day event, you can participate in multiple education sessions including a bonus session on assessing a high-risk customer. The agenda will also include an interactive small group discussion, a personal development session, and an Open Forum session on the final day allowing attendees to ask questions about current challenges and share best practices. IN ADDITION, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with the various industry service providers who may have the solutions your team needs to overcome today’s challenges.

Assessing a High-Risk Customer and What To Do About It

Monday, November 6 – 10:00am to 12:00pm

This 2-hour education super-session is designed as both an informative and interactive environment where CRF Senior Research Fellow, Steven Isberg, Ph.D., will share techniques on what to look for in today’s economic climate. Matt Skudera, President of the Credit Research Foundation (CRF), and Mike Bevilacqua, Chief Content Officer of CRF, will share their combined experiences in Fortune 500 organizations leading the credit function as well as other areas of the revenue cycle. Matt and Mike have a wealth of real life experience in diverse industries, and they will offer techniques on how to effectively communicate credit risk and mitigation recommendations with senior management. During this session you will learn:

  • How to identify a high-risk account – what indicators should you be looking for
  • What dots can be connected to determine the level of risk of non-payment or bankruptcy
  • Tools available to mitigate the Credit Risk
  • How to communicate the risk to senior management and offer guidance and solutions

Monetary guarantees are provided to the hotel, and materials are produced and shipped 2 weeks prior to each event. Therefore, absolutely NO refunds of registration fees will be allowed unless notification is received in advance of that window. Processing fee of $75 is not refundable.
