The Research Committee

The Research Committee of Credit Research Foundation is voluntarily staffed by senior credit and financial executives from a variety of industries who are members of the Foundation. While not a standing group, the Committee is dynamic in its makeup with members working on projects as their time permits. Another benefit is the unique opportunity to network with a group of peers. The Committee's responsibilities include the investigation, development, refinement and updating of research reports in credit and receivables management and related fields.

Project life-cycles range from six months to over a year in some cases. Typically initiated by requests from members, each project is weighed by the group for its overall value and interest to the general field of credit professionals. Surveys are commonly used as an initial data-gathering source often followed by focus groups or one-on-one interviews to qualify the data. Data gathered during the process is often part of a Forum as a way of obtaining further information and generating interest in the project. A publication is usually the final result of the effort.
"Year after year, CRF continues to be the best venue to obtain and confirm best practices utilizing people, processes, and technology."
David Caldwell, Director, Customer Financial Services, Emerson
